Er untersucht die Grenze zwischen „Musik“ und „Geräusch“ als gewaltsame Setzung nicht zuletzt. … Er spielt mit Tonspulen und Grammophontrichtern. Er demonstriert den Rohstoff Klang Transfer nach Methoden des Otherings – die unverschämte Bewertungspraxis und Kulturstufenpolitik der Kolonialethnologie, die eine Abwertung von (aus der europäischen Perspektive) randständigen Kulturleistungen wissenschaftlich festschrieb.”
