»sonus–the sound within us« returns onstage as part of »Decolonial Frequencies Festival«

in Festival Music Performance Sound Theatre on 2021.10.19 2021.12.05 Share Facebook Twitter Pinterest Email

Today, on the main stage of Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, we re-assemble sound, memory, performativities, and history.

From Friday until Monday, we reprise DECOLONIAL FREQUENCIES: sonus – the sound within us as part of the #decolonialfrequencies festival.

Pepê Dayaw, Ariel William Orah, Karlene Moreno-Hayworth, and Katherina Oliver join me as we traverse the recrudescent frequencies of eighteenth-century opera, nineteenth-century sarswela, 1950s film soundtracks, and the number one radio hit song of my childhood.

Will you join us? https://ballhausnaunynstrasse.de/play/sonus__the_sound_within_us/
